“Stupid fishing” today with short drifts again because you had to be right on top of them and if you were not you would catch nothing. Every time you would get on them, all 5 rods were lap over with singles and lots of doubles if you patient enough to wait another second before cranking.
All market size fish with a bunch of larges, with some up to 18 pounds or so…I never weigh them. It was nonstop action every time you would drop and as soon as you were off them it was time to move. No time to sit down as the move sometimes was only a boat length before it was time to send the jigs down again.
