Today we had Joe and crew out from Highlands NJ and despite great fishing conditions we had slow fishing throughout most of the day. It was a slow pick of cod on jigs in the early morning at best with a few nice size fish, but not many. Also we had quite a few throw-backs that were in the low 20 inches.
We went looking around for better fishing and everywhere we went there was not much to see. We then set the anchor and had an okay pick of haddock with a few nice fish here and there.
Not much more than that to report and they went home with a few nice bags of fillets.
